§301. Labeling of pharmaceuticals.
(a) No drug or pharmaceutical product, whether prescription or nonprescription, shall be dispensed by any store, hospital, dispensary or other outlet in the State unless such product is first clearly labeled in English as to its contents, and in English and/or Yapese as to its recommended uses and dosage, potentially hazardous reactions, if any, and expiration date, if any.
(b) Penalties. Any person or establishment violating any provision of this section shall be fined $50.00 for each violation.
(c) It shall be the joint responsibility of the Department of Health Services and the Division of Public Safety to make periodic checks of the hospitals, dispensaries, stores and other outlets in the State so as to ensure that the provisions of this section are followed.
