There is hereby established the Chuuk State Truk District Hospital Transportation Fund.

The purpose of the Chuuk State Truk District Hospital Patients Transportation Fund is to provide transportation for patients of Chuuk State Truk District who require periodic medical treatment and care to the Chuuk State Truk District Hospital, to provide return transportation to their homes after treatment at the Chuuk State Truk District Hospital, and to provide for each of these patients a
one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) noon meal during such travel, treatment
and care.

The Chuuk State Truk District Hospital Patients Transportation Fund shall be administered by the District Director of the Department of Health Services, Chuuk State Truk. The District Director shall submit an annual
report and accounting on the use of the funds to the Legislature on or
before May 1 of the fiscal year of appropriation.

There is hereby authorized an annual appropriation out of the General Fund of the Chuuk State Truk District Legislature,
of such sum as the Legislature deems necessary to carry out the provisions
of this Chapter.
