The members of the legislature shall be known as "Senators" for those who are members of the Senate and "Representatives" for those who are members of the House of Representatives and shall be addressed as "Senator" and "Representative"in
all communication from the Legislature.

Both Houses of the Chuuk State
Legislature shall convene annually in a regular session at 10:00 a.m., on
the first Monday in April, provided that in a general election year, both
Houses of the new Legislature shall convene in a regular session at 12:00
noon on the sixth Tuesday after the general election. Each regular
session shall be for not more than 60 working days.

The Senate or House of Representatives shall not go into recess beyond two

The President or the Speaker or Presiding Officer of
the Legislature may direct the Sergeant-at-Arms to place blockades and put
notices on public roadways and other places which control and prohibit use
of motor vehicles and the making of loud noises at times when the
Legislature is conducting business.

It shall be unlawful for a
person to use a motor vehicle or make a loud noise which would disturb the
Legislature's business when blockades and notices have been placed nearby
the Legislature's building.

Upon conviction of Section 1006 of this Chapter, the punishment shall be by
a fine of not more than $250.00, or by imprisonment for not more than 45
days, or by both.
